This was the wedding that never went viral and we wanted to keep it that way. Tobi and Tom had to cancel the wedding the day before due to heavy snowfallI. It was announced on local radio by a bridesmaid as they needed a new venue away from the cut off areas of Northumberland. The Baltic and the Vermont both stepped in and saved the day. When I got the call my bags were packed along with my shovel and a pre-empted booking at a hotel in Alnwick to ensure I was ahead of the snow the day before the wedding to avoid any potential issues. So when i got the call i was both hyped for digging my way through the snow in Northumberland but gobsmacked that they had managed to cancel and rearranged the whole wedding in less than a day.
With so much on the line, family, friends, suppliers bunched together to make this the wedding to remember. It was truly an awesome day for all as we started with snowballing at the Baltic and ended with sparklers at the Vermont. What an amazing feat this wedding really was. It was unprecedented, unheard of and we knocked it out of the park.
Most of all it was just for Tom and Tobi to treasure. There were tears of rejoice that it had all worked and I decided some stories are better experienced than told so the tears weren't for the cameras eyes. They were for the family. It was an intimate moment for all. A very special occasion indeed! Love_life+family-PL xx

The filming of people on various locations (indoors and outdoors) during COVID-19 pandemic, in light of increased risk of virus infection.
Transmission of the virus in:
1. Person to person contact,
2. Person to object/material contact.
1. location staff, wedding guests and the couple could be at risk of contracting COVID-19, putting them at serious risk of illness.
2. The cinematographer could be at risk of contracting COVID-19, being exposed in an environment out of their control.
Estimated risk level - medium.
1. Cinematographer has referred closely to government guidance including but not exhaustively:
2. Cinematographer to maintain a high level of personal hygiene:
Cinematographer to wash hands frequently for 20 seconds or more following government guidelines,
Hand sanitizer will be used where washing hands is not possible,
No physical contact with guests
Being alert of possible hygiene issues.
Wearing a mask if unable to maintain a 2m distance
3. Cinematographer to daily clean areas and equipment that are receiving high traffic usage or are frequent contact surfaces:
Personal belongings (such as mobile phone, car keys, etc),
Assets (such as a car and it's interior),
Business equipment (such as a camera body, light stands, etc).
4. Cinematographer to avoid:
Wearing jewelry, watch, etc,
Handling cash if possible (use contactless payment where possible).
5. Cinematographer and Client to maintain social distancing according to government guidance.
6. Client to maintain personal responsibility for their own hygiene practices inline with government "stay alert" guidance:
Washing hands when arriving on location and when leaving,
Washing hands as frequently as needed and using hand sanitizer if needed.

Please note that although the cinematographer has put safeguards in place to minimise the risk of a client contracting COVID-19, it is not possible to eradicate the risk completely. Therefor the client takes responsibility for their own personal health and safety and must make a personal risk assessment in order to identify whether they deem the residual risk too high.
In this risk assessment the client should take into account their own individual vulnerabilities, including whether they're within one of the "at risk" categories as identified in government guidance.

Eleanor + Stephen, Ansty Hall Wedding. A classic wedding with a little bit of fun. Stephen and Eleanor had such a romantic day and we just clicked as friends through the day from start to finish. Everything was lovely and relaxed and it was so easy to take a step back and let them be themselves for a much more personal take on their day. This was my first visit to Ansty Hall and I wanted to get some work that had never been done there before but make it as relaxed and as accessible as possible. There were a few tears, a few surprises as I was keeping secrets from each of them such as the personalised banner and the fireworks, i was so glad when it all came to fruition! The perfect day and what a lovely couple and family and friends. What a fantastic setting it was at Ansty Hall, a venue with so much potential and a fab day for their wedding story to be told.

Poppy + Adriano, Leez Priory Wedding. An elegant wedding with a little bit of fun. Adriano and Poppy were great fun, easy to talk to and elegant. We had some laughs in the morning with Poppy and the bridesmaids it was like reuniting with old friends. Poppy wanted someone to capture her day the way it was and to keep things super relaxed. This was my first visit to Leez Priory, a building steeped in history in the outskirts of Essex, it was perfect for Poppy and her love for Tudor. Both Adriano and Poppy being teachers they just worked together so well. Having lived near each other for so long before actually meeting, Leez Priory was in the perfect location for friends and family. This was an intimate wedding with a great social atmosphere and the grounds lent themselves to an open gathering. By the end of the night having spent so long with them I felt like I was saying goodbye to two friends. What a great venue Leez Priory is, I look forward to my next visit one day.
Rebecca + Christopher, Headlam Hall Wedding. A classic wedding where I felt a part of their personal journey with a lot of lovely moments throughout the day. A historically quirky wedding with lots of personalised themes and fun along the way. A very comfortable couple who waited until they were alone to have some of those more unique moments, just perfect together.
